"No Hassles" 365 Day Return Policy
We guarantee a ‘No Hassles’ Return and Refund policy and provide a flat rate cost of $7.95 for return postage within Australia.
We understand that buying clothing and fashion online is convenient however it doesn’t give you the chance to try things on first and sometimes items just don’t fit or suit you. You may return the items bought online within 365 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange if preferred even on sale items (Note: the refund is for the item/s and does not include the postage charges).
How do I return products to Birdsnest?
When you place an order at birdsnest we send you a confirmation email to let you know when your parcel is on its way. In this email we also include a link to a personalised electronic returns form. On this form you can select the items that you’d like to return and choose how you’d like your return to be processed (refund, credit note or exchange).
You then have the option of printing a pre-paid postage label (this is a flat rate of $7.95 that will be deducted from your final refund amount) to attach to your parcel. You can also choose to handle the postage yourself, or combine items from multiple orders to return in one parcel. To return items from multiple orders in one parcel, simply follow the Return process and choose the option to ‘post this with another return’. If you also print a pre-paid postage label, this means you’ll pay a single postage cost.
Once you complete the Returns process, please print your finalised return form and include it with your parcel. This form helps the process to run smoothly at our end and includes our return address in case you’re taking care of postage yourself and need to know where to send it.
What if I don’t have my confirmation email anymore?
You can access your Order History or opt to Return an item from any order at any time within 365 days of purchase. To access this information, simply visit your ‘Me’ tab, log in, and visit your ‘My Orders’ page – where you can view your order history and access returns forms for each order.
What can I return?
We have a 365 Day No Hassle returns policy on everything at birdsnest – even sale items!
When returning an item, we obviously ask that the garment has not been worn or washed, all labels are attached and that you take care to protect the garment when posting. If concerned, please return goods via registered mail to ensure their safety as we do not take responsibility for goods lost in transit.
What if a product is faulty?
We take great pride in our goods and packaging so we certainly hope that you never receive a faulty product from us. If, on the rare occassion, this does occur please contact customer service on 1300 696 378 or e-mail customerservice(@)birdsnest.com.au to let us know and we can either send out a post bag for you to return the product in or refund your postage when the parcel arrives. If available you can request a replacement or refund for the product.
If you would like to exchange an item - it is a super idea to drop us an e-mail or phone call to let us know what item you are after so that we can put it on hold for you. Please make a note of your order number and the particular style number in question. We are happy to hold items for one week. The last thing we want is for it to sell out before your return arrives!

The important thing to remember is that we want the items you order to be perfect for you... We understand your life is busy so feel free to do things like order two sizes in a style to work out which is the best fit. Take home as much as you like, get a second opinion, try it on with the rest of your wardrobe and return whatever doesn't work. We love turning our returns around as quickly as possible so you can get on with finding the perfect thing!
