A word from Jane Cay, our big bird founder

As the golden wattle starts to spread across the Monaro, and the snow begins to melt - it’s time to welcome in spring with open arms. 

Without dwelling on the fact that 2021 has not been the fresh start that we had all hoped for - we wanted to take a moment to send our love and hugs to everyone as they navigate life this year. My mind boggles as I try to imagine all the individual situations of women across our country trying to lead and nurture themselves, families, friends, communities and careers right now. Go easy on yourself, you are doing amazing, promise. 

At the nest, we have attempted to cherish the time close to home to enjoy our beautiful nature filled region and chip away at some renovation projects. Yes we have also jumped on the home improvement bandwagon! Launching in Spring will be our brand new (and a little bit glamorous) Nest Lounge connected to our Cooma store and offering private and personalised shopping experiences, think bubbles and laughter! Meanwhile, if you are too far away or are not able to travel, like so many of us - please stay in touch, we would love to see you in our private Facebook group ‘birdsnest Wardrobe Wingbirds’ to share your style pics, to ask for advice, and to most importantly connect with your fellow ‘wingbirds’.
