A key initiative within Eden's transformative work is their microgreens project, which aims to improve the health and livelihoods of impoverished communities in Myanmar. The project not only provides access to nutritious food but also offers education on healthy eating and nutrition, helping to reduce poverty and improve overall well-being. Trafficking survivors and other vulnerable community members are involved in growing microgreens, gaining skills and economic empowerment that enable them to build sustainable futures. This initiative also works to address the root causes of trafficking by offering a pathway out of financial hardship and vulnerability.
Inspired by Eden's innovative microgreens program, the Radicle Post Earrings symbolise growth and new beginnings. Designed to represent a seed, these earrings feature emerald cubic zirconia stones that depict the radicle-the first sign of life to emerge from a seed. This collection represents the thousands of transformed lives that began as a single seed sown into an environment at Eden that fosters growth, strength, and renewal. Each piece is a testament to the incredible journey from potential to transformation, reflecting the power of creating the right conditions for the emergence of a transformed life. Eden is an incredible organisation which exists to reach, rescue, and restore women caught in exploitation and human trafficking across Asia. Each piece of jewellery is inspired by the true story of a courageous woman and is handmade by rescued women. Every purchase supports the rescue and restoration of women trapped in sexual exploitation. Profits are then used to empower rescued women through stable employment, trauma informed care, PTSD counselling, educational classes and vocational skills training.
