Cord is traditionally a cold-weather favourite, but the fabric in this style is light-midweight, and a superfine corduroy, so it will accompany you easily year-round. Of course, it has all the pockets (six in total) and the trademark toggle-adjustable drawcords in the leg hems; it also has a flat-fronted waistband with elastication through the back so it's comfy.
