Housing our most beloved brands and natural fiber range, this brand new location is sparkling brighter than the Queensland sun, and bustling busily behind those bright red doors are a few new wingbirds we'd love you to meet.
Meet Trish
Once a Snowy gal, Trish has traded lake views for the endless sunshine and sea breeze of Burleigh Heads. Her magnetic smile and soft attention to detail make for a winning wingbird combination, finessing any look from your shoes to your accessories with effortless ease.
What is your role at birdsnest?
I am a fashion stylist at our beautiful Burleigh store.
What’s your favourite or most cherished piece of clothing?
Love shoes & bags. My well worn denim jacket is my go to item in my wardrobe, it pretty much goes with everything.
What is the one style tip you live for? OR How would you describe your personal style?
My style is eclectic. I dress to feel both feminine & comfortable. Expressing individuality is key.
Your favourite activity to do in Burleigh Heads?
I’ve lived in the snowy mountains for quite a few years, the landscape is just spectacular. I’m now living on the Gold Coast & enjoying stunning sunrises & sunsets, how lucky am I.
Favourite song, TV series or movie?
Favourite all time song is Elton John’s “Your Song”. It makes me feel good.
A piece of advice you’d give to your younger self?
Advise to my younger self would be- “Believe in yourself “

What is your role at birdsnest?
I’m a Fashion Stylist at the fabulous new Burleigh store!
What’s your favourite or most cherished piece of clothing?
I don’t think I can choose just one - I have a few maxi dresses that are my favourite that I always gravitate towards as I feel confident when wearing them.
What is the one style tip you live for? OR How would you describe your personal style?
My personal style is very classic, with a bit of boho thrown in! Over the last year I’ve also been enjoying adding a lot more colour into my wardrobe.
Your favourite activity to do in Burleigh Heads?
I love an early morning walk along the Burleigh esplanade, finishing off with a great coffee while we enjoy the view.
What is your signature dish?
My signature dish would have to be my nana’s chocolate chip cookies. In my spare time, you will often find me in the kitchen baking these for my family.
A piece of advice you’d give to your younger self?
Not to be afraid to try something new, even when it’s scary, as that could end up being the thing that you love the most.

My role at Birdsnest Burleigh Heads is Fashion Stylist: helping the customers to find the best outfit!
What’s your favourite or most cherished piece of clothing?
My most cherished piece of clothing in my wardrobe is a silk white robe that I got from my grandma and I’ve been saving to wear it soon on my wedding day!
What is the one style tip you live for? OR How would you describe your personal style?
I love to think about my personal style as an Italian summer day: romantic, fresh & cool!
Your favourite activity to do in Burleigh Heads?
I’ve been passionate about Burleigh Heads since the first time I arrived in 2017 when I moved here from Brazil. Burleigh is my fav destination to catch the sunset on the Hill enjoying a bowl of Acai with my partner and my puppy.
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance of winning a medal for?
Something related to cleaning and organising, probably wardrobe organising (I am a pro 😉)

I am part of the lovely Burleigh Birdsnest team and Fashion Stylist, helping all to feel amazing, confident and, comfortable in their outfits.
What’s your favourite or most cherished piece of clothing?
One of my cherished pieces is my beautiful oversized brown check blazer from búl. Always comes with me whenever I'm going somewhere cold, makes me feel so stylish.
What is the one style tip you live for? OR How would you describe your personal style?
Style tip I live for is to have fun with your outfit and find pieces that make you feel amazing, confident and comfortable!
Your favourite activity to do in Burleigh Heads?
Morning runs along the Burleigh beach up to north Burleigh, followed by a swim. Also catching up with friends on the hill for sunset, watching the surfers.

Can’t pick just one so my top 5 favourite tv shows are Gilmore Girls, Fleabag, New Girl, Ted Lasso and Breaking Bad.

I'm a burleigh bird! I get to style beautiful women in beautiful clothes that make them feel AMAZING!

High waisted wide leg Levi jeans.Jeans and a white shirt is such a staple for me.
What is the one style tip you live for? OR How would you describe your personal style?
Style tip would be to never give up trying new things and to wear what makes you feel good not what people are saying is fashionable.
Your favourite activity to do in Burleigh Heads?
Get a smoothie from Helens on James Street and head to the creek for a day of salt water and sunshine.
