Birdsnest X Keep It Cool

At birdsnest, we have always been very passionate about influencing positive change, particularly when the environment is concerned, and we are always looking for ways to improve and reduce our impact on the environment.

Like many Australians, the birdsnest girls love nothing more than spending time out in mother nature, and being located in Cooma, NSW we are surrounded by a landscape that is both beautiful and unique. We love calling the Snowy Mountains home, and are so excited to announce we are teaming up with Keep It Cool, an organisation based in Jindabyne, planting trees in an effort to draw down carbon from the atmosphere and keep our planet and our mountains beautiful.

"At Keep It Cool we love the outdoors, especially the mountains. And if the mountains get hotter then we have less snow in winter and more unbearably hot days in summer."

Books For Good that 'Keep It Cool'

books

As part of our 'Books for Good' initiative we will be selling books that we love, and three of these books will have 100% of sales being donated directly to Keep It Cool. For every $5 made from these books, Keep It Cool will plant one tree.

Galah
Galah is a gorgeous seasonal publication that celebrates the stories, people and places of regional Australia. Each Galah sold at birdsnest will plant 5 trees which is a lovely bonus on top of all that literary and visual goodness.

A Life On Our Planet
Sir David Attenborough's witness statement comes to life in these pages. Sharing this book is our tiny contribution to help share and learn from his message plus each book sold at birdsnest will plant 8 trees which we are sure would make David smile.

Bronte Crawley

Bronte has called the Snowy Mountains home for the last 5 years after moving here from the Central Coast. When Bronte isn’t assisting the PR and Marketing team at the nest, she can usually be found perched in the sun with some snacks and a good book or blaring music and dancing around the house!
