Orders received before 1pm EST on a business day are sent the same day. We aim to have your order delivered within 2 working days. This can be quicker for NSW or capital city customers, and slightly longer for remote areas.

Check Express Post domestic delivery times for your region using ACT as the sender. We are based in NSW, but use the Canberra network.

  • All orders placed before 1pm AEST Monday to Friday will be shipped via express post that same day. Anything after 1pm, will be sent the next business day.

  • Yes, we do ship overseas to a wide range of countries. You can check the Australia Post website for delivery destination and time frames to your country here.

    When we ship to New Zealand 15% GST is applied to your order as required by New Zealand customs. 

    When we ship to the Rest of the World the Australian GST (Goods & Services Tax) is removed from all items, however, you may be required to pay import duty or sales tax which are set by customs of the country where you are shipping to. 

    • The shipping charge for New Zealand is a flat rate of $12.95.
    • The shipping charge for all other overseas countries is a flat rate of $25.00 AUD.
  • Parcel Collect

    Parcel collect is a free service where you can select to have your parcel sent to your preferred participating Post Office. You will be notified via SMS when your parcel is ready to collect during business hours. You will need to create an account by signing up for Australia Post's MyPost.

     

    Parcel Locker

    Parcel lockers are a free, secure and conveniently located service in some Post Offices, Train Stations, Petrol Stations and Supermarkets. You can collect 24/7 with the use of a pin number issued by Australia Post via SMS. You will need to create an account by signing up for Australia Post's MyPost.

     

    You should choose AustPost Collect on the Delivery Details section of the checkout. You can enter your suburb and instead of delivering to your home, you can select a collection point near you.

  • Yes, you can enter delivery instructions for Australia Post at the delivery details page of our checkout. These instructions will be printed on your postage label for the postie to read.

  • To have your parcel signed for, you can tick ‘I require a signature on delivery’ at the delivery details page of our checkout.

    If you are not home when Australia Post try to deliver your parcel, a card should be left advising you that your parcel has been taken back to the nearest Post Office for you to collect.

  • Within Australia, we deliver all our orders to you via the Australia Post Express Service.

    • When you spend $150 or more at birdsnest, we will express post your order to you for FREE
    • When your order is less than $150, we will express post your order for a flat rate of $10.95

Tracking Your Parcel

Once your order ships, we’ll email you your tracking number.

Track your parcel via Australia Post, or for international orders, through your local postal service once it arrives in the destination country.

Once your order has been dispatched we will send you an email containing the tracking information of your parcel. The email has the subject: your parcel from birdsnest is on it's way! which will contain the tracking number. To track your parcel, click on the link provided in the email. This will take you to the Australia Post website where you will be able to see your tracking history while the parcel is in transit and will allow you to see when it is due for delivery. Please allow some time for the tracking information to appear on the Australia Post website. You may also receive an email from Australia Post which will also update you on the progress of your parcel.

You can also track your parcel through your account on the site. 

  1. Log into your account on our website by clicking on your name, or head shaped icon, at the top of your screen.
  2. Click 'Orders & Returns'
  3. Next to your recent order there will be a ‘track order’ button. You can click on this and will be taken to the Australia Post website with the tracking details pre-filled.

Please note, if you didn't select 'signature on delivery' for your parcel, your parcel may have been 'safe dropped'. Please double check around your property, including places like inside your meter box or behind pot plants.
