I have this dress in three colours. It's so versatile you can dress up or down. The material drapes beautifully, skimming over lumps and bumps. True to size and super comfy to wear.

Good fit. Very comfy to wear. Not sure if I look like an amorphous blob in this though. I really like wearing it with a jacket.

Beautiful dress, so comfortable and smart looking. I went down a size after reading reviews and it is perfect. I have tried to order more but there is only a few sizes left.
We went for a drive to King Valley to visit a winery and one of the staff came up to me and wanted to know where I got the dress from, I was pleased to tell her to go to the Birdsnest website

The colours are fantastic but other then that, what a disappointment.
Firstly, pockets are only functional if they serve a purpose and don’t ruin the line of the garment. In this case the line of the dress is completely spoilt.
Secondly, I’m not wild about the fabric. Whilst it’s smooth and will probably never crease, it also won’t breathe on even a mildly warm day and will likely end up sticking in most unflattering way. If this was a bamboo fabric I’d have kept both colours.

I absolutely love this dress! It is a gorgeous material and feels so lovely on. It fits great and can be worn with a belt and all my favourite necklaces. I will be getting heaps of wear out of this dress this summer, both for work and play. Wish it came in more colours!

I thought this was bamboo cotton mix, not polyester. If you can wear this sort of poly knit, then it is probably alright. I cannot

This is definately my favourite summer dress, its shape, style can be dressed up or down, and I certainly had some really positive comments about it. No need to iron and wrinkle free, just perfect.

I am not very tall so the dress is a little bit long on me but will look lovely with a belt. Beautiful drapey fabric and a lovely colour

Sadly this dress was too big and didn’t suit me at all.

Put this back in the mailing bag and sent it right back without even trying on. Didn't like the horrible synthetic feel of the fabric. I had been expecting a bamboo or cotton blend feeling jersey. If you don't mind synthetic fibers, you might like this, but I was not a fan.

Love this dress! Was worried it would look like a sack on but it doesn’t it drapes beautifully. Doesn’t crease at all and can be dressed up or down, so great for travel. Took other reviewers advice and ordered a size down and it fits perfectly.

This is my first order ever and I will be coming back to birdsnest forever. Reasons - the dress fits perfectly due to the care they took on setting up your body types on the online site. Peoples honest answers about going down one size for this dress. But the main reason I will come back is the personal note that I received from Joanna and her team. It was like I brought my dresses from a group of best friends.

I went down a size with my purchase which resulted in a perfect fit. The style is very flattering and slimming. Fabric is excellent quality and drapes well over the curves. Loved the colour also and hope it comes out in more colours. Very happy with this dress.

This dress would be great for traveling, however the style didn't suit me. I will be returning it.

This is a beautiful easy dress to wear and true to size. My only wish is if it had a little more natural fibre in it.

Lovely dress! The no iron fabric is of great quality and falls beautifully. Unfortunately the pockets are in an unflattering place for my shape.

Dress was a perfect fit for me as I have a big of extra weight on. I bought an XL and it is very roomy. If you don't have big boobs and /or a round tummy, then get a smaller size.

This is now one of three dresses in my wardrobe. I find it difficult to find dress styles that suit me. This dress sits well, it falls beautifully, is slimming, hides problem areas and the weight and texture of the fabric are good. The sizing is extremely generous. Thanks to other reviews I bough a 14 when I would normally buy an 18. The 14 is a perfect fit. I will be watching to see if it becomes availabke in other colo0urs. Love it.

I took the advice of other reviewers and went a size down. I am so glad I did. I was worried it would be too fitting but it is the perfect fit. It hides my mum tum but makes me feel really good and shows off all the right curves. The material isn't super light but is still comfortable. I only wish there was more colours in this style so I could buy them.

Love this dress! Originally ordered normal size and it was way too big, went down 2 sizes and it is perfect, would love to get it in a couple of different colours

This dress didn’t suit me at all unfortunately. I am quite small and maybe that is why. I felt it stuck out where the pockets are which actually made my hips look bigger. I also thought (my fault) that it was T-shirt material, but it wasn’t. I would recommend possibly for a larger shape.

What a fantastic no iron dress, I loved it so much I bought both colours. I hemmed one a bit shorter for a more casual look. If more colours were available, they’d be in my wardrobe!

I have this dress in both the navy and the khaki colours now. I just love the design and it feels amazing on. It's a slightly weighty fabric (but by no means hot!) which helps it to hang perfectly and skim all my bumpy bits. The fabric is really nice quality and the colour is spot on.....couldnt be happier. Great wardrobe addition!

I brought this as an alternative to little tanning dress as looked not as volumous. It is fantastic for tanning but also looks great for outings with beads. Another look that works well is a leather belt. I brought an 8 when normally a 10 and it fits perfectly.

Ordered this dress on Tuesday morning and it arrived the next day! Amazing! I immediately tried it on and it fit perfectly. Many of the reviews suggested to order a size down which I did. Normally a size 12/14 I ordered a 10. Love this dress and can’t wait to wear it over Christmas/ holidays. The note included from the birds nest team was a lovely personal touch.

I think I am too short for this. Fabric thin and clingy. Pockets hit at the wrong spot. And my tuck-shop-lady arms didn't help the overall look :)

Oh my goodness. I cannot be happier with this dress. I can dress it up with orange heels and accessories, or pop some gold flats on with a hat and I'm set. The dress washes and wears beautifully and I feel really smart in it. Can't go wrong. I'm on the wait list for the khaki one.

This dress is very flattering and comfortable. Just flows over all the lumps and bumps. I wasn't absolutely sure about how the pockets looked on my hips but it got teenage daughter approved. We all know they can be our toughest critics. I cant wait to wear this one.

This is the second drape dress I’ve bought - first the black and now the khaki. It is incredibly versatile, dress up or down, so easy to wear, packs without creasing and hides lumps and bumps. My summer staple. Go down a size - it is large and verges on too long.

Really nice fabric the dress falls very well,doesn’t cling to the bumpy bits but does have some shape.Looks good with either sandals with a mid heel or sand shoes.Great travel dress.Because I’m a bit shorter than the model (165cms) the dress falls just below my knees which was perfect for me

This dress is great for travel as it does not crease at all. It hangs nicely and the material will dry quickly. I am a standard size 14 but ordered a size 12. The 12 is still too big! I am sending back and swapping for a size 10. Go down one or two sizes, its a very roomy dress!

I loved this dress - bought it in navy. I wore it every day for 3 days when I received it - so ordered the khaki too!
Following on from other review comments, I ordered a size down, and it is perfect. Comfortable and relaxed, easy to dress up or keep casual.

I’d been eyeing off this dress for ages and as soon as I went to buy it, my size (12) sold out! So I bought the 10 and it still fits well, not too tight as the material is stretchy. The dress is meant to be oversized so being a smaller size means it doesn’t have the billowy look I was expecting but it still drapes nicely rather than looking like a sack (as some shapeless dresses can do). It’s quite a thick material so I’m not sure how cool it will be in summer though.
The pockets sit a bit low - midway down my thigh - and look a bit awkward sticking out at my widest body area, but a cardigan / shawl over the top hides that. It’s a plain style that can be dressed up or down and the navy is a great colour. I’m very pleased.

I bought 2 different sizes. One for me and one as a Xmas present. It's a very comfortable loose fitting dress however the back curves down a bit too long (esp on short people)

I ordered a navy and khaki drape jersey dress. It is comfortable and very versatile, its going to be a great dress for work and going out. When I first opened it I was concerned that it looked quite big but when you put it on the material falls quite nicely and is slimming.

This dress is very basic. Falls nicely and the fabric is synthetic so think it would be a good travel dress. I did not like the look from the side with the gaping pockets. So will be returning.

Worn this dress several times. It is versatile in that it can be dressed up or down, yet always looks smart and effortless. Forgiving shape and very comfortable. Washes well and black is my go to colour. True to size, although I could have gone down to a sz 14 or possibly a 12 as it is a loose fit

This is a super comfy dress that feels beautiful on. I am an apple shape - big round tummy - and can’t do dresses that cinch in at the waist so normally wear shift or A-Line. This dress needs accessories - necklace or scarf to lift it a bit because to be honest - my husband said he thought it was sleep wear. Ha ha!!! But I love it. Chuck on some wedges and and beads and I could live in it. I’m normally a 14 and the size 12 was perfect.

The let down on this dress was the position of the pockets. Right on my top thighs which made me look wider than I am. I loved the fabric but if it was a good fit for me I’d have gone down a size too. I’m 178cm and I went down a size but it was still not as flattering as I’d hoped.

Ok so I want this dress in every colour! I’m a 16-18 curvy with a round tummy, lumps and bumps and the rest! This dress is so flattering I get comments every time I wear it!! I’m obsessed with it and will probably buy another so I have a backup when this one is worn out! The material is beautiful and just the right thickness to make it fall perfectly, sizing is spot on. So easy to wear and wash!! Please bring out more colours!!!!!

I expected this to be "jersey" in at shirt style but it is actually a more satin feel. I offered a 16 and it is on the large size...I would have been OK with a 14 but I didn't have time to return it before an event! I still loved wearing it, it's definitely more of an evening type fabric.

Garment arrived quickly. Loved the fit of the dress. It was a good length for me being 5ft2. Unfortunately i will be sending it back as the weight and feel of the material is too heavy and wouldn't breathe in the warmer months

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of this dress. Feels heavy but doesn't affect comfort or coolness and helps to fall nicely and cover your womanly lumps and bumps. Great for those blah days and can be classy or funky depending on accessories. I am a 12-14 and bought the 12 due to the size. Honestly think I could have ordered the 10 and it would have still fit nicely. I will get a lot of wear out of this dress.

This dress feels fabulous on and is reallly versatile. It is on the generous side size wise, but I am short so need to get it taken up regardless. I ordered a size up, but in hindsight should have ordered my normal size.

I've only tried this dress on, but I'm already contemplating living in it all summer. It's one of those dresses that can be worn with sandals, birkenstocks or Converse, and dressed up or down. Feels supremely comfy on and I don't think it will crush. I'm a size 14/16 and the 14 is perfect. Would it be wrong to order another in the same colour? :-)
